Troubleshooting

What to do when a book is offline, a preview has expired, a document was not saved, or AutoCount's version does not match.

Example prompts

Copy one into a chat with AUTOCOUNT connected and change the details to your own.

  1. Is Company A's book online now?

  2. Why was this document not saved? What should I do?

  3. Make the same preview again; the last one expired.

In detail

The book is offline
The office computer that runs AutoCount for this book is off or not connected to the internet. Switch it on, check the internet, wait a minute and ask again. Still offline: tell your administrator.
The preview has expired
A preview is valid for 30 minutes. Ask the AI for a new preview; the new page has a new code.
Too many wrong codes
Ask for a new preview. For a withdrawal, wait until the page lets you try again.
Not saved
The card says why, and nothing was saved for that document. Fix the cause and ask for a new preview, or report the problem if the reason is unclear.
AutoCount does not match this book's version
AutoCount on the office computer is a different version from this book. Ask your administrator to upgrade AutoCount for this book; AcBridge does not upgrade it.
Posting is switched off for this book
Posting has not been allowed for this book on the office computer. Ask your administrator.
The AI does not see a new feature
Disconnect AUTOCOUNT in your AI app, connect it again, and start a new chat.
Too many requests
There is a limit on requests per person per minute. Wait a moment and ask again.
