Connect AUTOCOUNT in ChatGPT, Claude or Grok
Add AcBridge to your AI app once, as a custom connector named AUTOCOUNT with the address https://acbridge.app/mcp, and sign in with your work account.
First your administrator invites you (an email from Microsoft Invitations: press Accept) and gives you a role. Then connect once in the AI app you use. Menu names change from time to time: look for connectors or custom connectors in the app's settings. On a company plan, the app's admin may have to allow custom connectors first.
Example prompts
Copy one into a chat with AUTOCOUNT connected and change the details to your own.
Which AutoCount books can I use?
Who am I in AcBridge, and what is my role in each company?
Steps
- Claude: Settings > Connectors > Add custom connector. Name AUTOCOUNT, address
https://acbridge.app/mcp, then Add and Connect. - ChatGPT: Settings > Apps & Connectors > Advanced settings, turn on Developer mode, then create a connector: name AUTOCOUNT, address
https://acbridge.app/mcp, authentication OAuth. - Grok: Settings > Connectors > New connector > Custom, then paste
https://acbridge.app/mcp. - When the sign-in page opens, sign in with the work email your administrator invited, then press Allow.
What happens next
- Start a new chat and ask one of the prompts above. The first time, the app may ask you to allow the AUTOCOUNT tools.
- After AcBridge adds new features, disconnect AUTOCOUNT, connect it again and start a new chat, so the app sees them.
Tips
- Turn off model training in the AI app (Claude: Settings > Privacy; ChatGPT and Grok: Settings > Data controls).
- Use your own sign-in and turn on two-step sign-in; never share an account.
- If the app shows an error, note the time and tell your administrator.
