Quotation
Ask for a quotation with the customer, date and lines; it does not touch the accounts, and you can invoice it later by its number.
Example prompts
Copy one into a chat with AUTOCOUNT connected and change the details to your own.
In Company A's book, make a quotation for Customer D dated 2026-09-10: 4 units of ITEM-E at RM 650.00 and a service fee of RM 200.00.
Quote Customer B for 50 boxes of Product A (ITEM-A) at RM 11.80, reference their enquiry EQ-77.
The customer accepted: turn quotation Q-0012 into a sales invoice dated today.
Include in your request
- Customer, date, and each line's item or description, quantity and unit price.
- A reference or description, if your quotations carry one.
What happens next
- A confirmer types the 4-digit code; the page shows the quotation number and a PDF in your book's layout.
- When the customer accepts, ask for the invoice from the quotation number.
Tips
- In books whose invoices follow the delivery order number, a quotation is not invoiced directly: ask for the invoice with its lines instead.
